Dr. Bhagat Singh Thind

Dr. Bhagat Singh Thind was a scientist, writer, and teacher of spirituality. He was involved in an important legal battle with U.S. Supreme Court over the rights of Indians to obtain U.S. citizenship.

Dr. Thind’s son David Thind approached us to revamp the existing website; initially created to propagate Dr. Bhagat Singh Thind’s philosophy for which he spent his entire life in the United States. The client wanted to redesign the website as it was long out of date and packed with information thrown around in an unplanned manner over the years. It was not responsive and lacked e-commerce functionality. He wanted us to redesign the website from scratch to make it easy for readers to gain information and incite them to make a purchase.

We had two goals for this project:

To revamp the website and make it easy for people to read more about Dr. Thind.
To design a mobile responsive website that comes with E-commerce functionality.

Our Strategy

We interacted with the client and offered different solutions that meet his objectives in the best manner. We created a feature-rich e-commerce store that houses a collection of Dr. Thind literature, photos, ebooks, and movies. We ensure that the new website is compatible with different platforms, user-friendly, easy to navigate and have improved overall site architecture.

The Solution

Phase 1

Prototyping

The client wanted a user-friendly, easy to navigate, and customized website to portray Dr. Thind’s life journey and showcase his literature. Our goal was to revamp the website, highlight Dr. Thind’s journey, books, movies, and other literature. We were also responsible to create custom email sequences for sign up, order receipts and more.

Visitors can easily gain an insight into Dr. Thind lifestyle, explore his lawsuits with U.S. Supreme Court and shop from a vast range of books, ebooks, DVDs, audio cassettes and more.

Phase 2

The Redesigning Process

It was important for Dr. Bhagat Singh Thind website to evolve with the evolving technologies. We had the existing website as a reference and after gathering assets and understanding the website, we provided the client with a design mock-up. After undergoing through iterations, the client selected the design and the website was developed on WordPress CMS with Woo-Commerce for Shop.

Bringing It Together

The new Dr. Bhagat Singh Thind website comes with an intuitive navigation. It is a content rich website with informative and easy to navigate pages. The strengthened user experience clubbed with robust functionality makes it easy for visitors to find what they are looking for.
